Meet Axo, Our Mascot

Axo is a curious and visionary axolotl representing innovation, regeneration, and the capacity for transformation.

Inspired by the academic spirit of Coimbra, his flying cape, based on the capes worn by university students, symbolizes knowledge, ambition, and the courage to challenge the impossible.

Just like the ecosystem that SCS brings together—startups, investors, researchers, and decision-makers—Axo is constantly evolving, adapting, learning, and exploring new frontiers.

He is an explorer of the future, born in Coimbra, connecting tradition, science, and technology to drive ideas with global impact.
